Those who know me will be appalled to see a Ford of any kind on my bucket list. In response, I say how can you not love the Ford Raptor. Its a purpose built toy-truck that eats sand dunes for lunch. With a 6.2 liter V8 in the works, a completely redesigned suspension including Fox Racing Shocks, 12 inches of suspension travel, and 35″ BFG off road tires, this truck has everything you need to make the desert (or pretty much any other road) your playground. Check out the video from Motor Trend to see the Raptor in action.
The argument can be made that California State Route 1 (aka Highway 1) is the most beautiful scenic route in the United States. However, there is no argument that 1963 Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spyder is the most beautiful automobile to bear the name of the Sunshine State. I can’t imagine a better fit to soak up the sunshine of the Pacific Coast than a Red Drop Top Ferrari, and certainly the legendary 250 GT has to be among the tops of such a list. Does driving a million dollar vintage Italian speedster to a California Vineyard to sip locally grown hand made Pinot Grigio scream snobbish? Of course it does. Would you partake in such an amazing opportunity anyway? Of course you would. Me too.
